Oops! I didn't noice that...my observation seem to fail me recently

So happy to see that Ap. Breitbinden is being bred in our fellow brother's tank!!

I think you have a female there..Take a closer look at it's ventral fins..It's slightly blackish...

Its quite difficult to determine the sex cause some of the males have slight black streaks on the ventrals. Take for example A. Hongsloi and A.Wilhelmi

I also think it might be a female. However, its still too young to sex them. They should be slightly over 6mths old.

No, not from biotope.

Ap. Breitbinden take a longer time to be sexually matured and grow their features...but definitely a special species with special characteristics
