You probably will have a good chance of getting them at Cichlid Forever.
Just found out about these guys, which are also apparently known as 'Poor Man's Discus'. They look like interesting fish in their own right, though. Has anyone here kept them before, or know where to get them locally?![]()

Actually, there are many color variants too. I've seen them at Wu Hu (Tiong Bahru), C328 and Polyart (Clementi) and Rainbow (Serangoon) previously.
But wild caught ones with the original coloration seem quite rare.
Cheers,
I have dwarf cichlids in my tanks! Do you?
I've kept them before in the airbase, until my OC made us clear them out of the office. They were rehomed in the fire station water tank.Easy fish, keep in groups or pair, need a large tank, quite peaceful, eat like pigs.
