Hi guys, need help and advice from brothers here, 2 weeks ago I brought the blackwater extract and hopeing to use it for my fish. After the water change, i happily went to get the newly brought blackwater extract and about to pour it into the tank where while pouring the bottle slip from my hand and close to 20% of the blackwater been pour into the tank . Nowsday my tank all black black due to my mistakes and i can't enjoy my fish at all. It had been 2 week when i do 3x time WC about 20% each but water remain dark. I even try applying bioearth as recommanded but water still dark. I was suggested to do 50% WC 1x per week for 1 month by my friend.

Will it affect my fish if i do a 50% waterchange?
Any other method to get back clear water?

Sorry for the long Post...please help me

    Re: Overdoseing of Black Water

It will not affect fishes. They will probably feel more at home if they happen to be Apistogramma and other South America species.

All you need is daily 20% water change. Remember to use anti-chlorine. Cheers
