Wet/Dry Eheim Pro 2227/2229 Canister Filter

Out of curiousity, anyone is using this type of canister for their planted plant setup?

Not recomended if you are using CO2.

i've heard wet/dry and sump filters give you very low CO2 levels due to high agitation of the water during the filtration process...and that in turn is bad for plants...so i think that's why people discourage from getting such filters for planted tanks? i'm a newbie myself so not too sure =)

P.S would it also be discouraged for a lowtech system with no CO2 injection?

that what people told me, if i wanna use the filter, i might have to push up my CO2 injection from 2 to probably 8-10.....
