well i have one female with eggs so i think its alright for me to share some knowledge!
well one thing i know is that the males have very long whiskers (dont know the exact name), females on the other hand have much smaller ones! also females have thicker bodies then males

usually the mums have rounder and fat bodys to cater to eggs storage.... can be quite obvious 1.
As most shrimp keepers above shared, female Shrimps have bigger rounded carapace, usually quite easy to identify. Male carapace are much tapered and slim.
Is it safe to buy berried shrimps from LFS? Will they survive in my tank?
