Hi din know those are the parasite. I have found some of those in my tank too that stick on the glass panel but dun know will anything happen to my shrimp?

Also to my surprise found something swimming in the water too they look nymph larvae. I think this creature will eat up the shrimp when they are bigger. Anyway I took out all the plant washed them up and removed all those alien that was still swimming in the tank before placing my plant back to where it was.

How big is your tank ? just shrimp only ? And how do you removed those super tiny aliens swimming in the tank .....
Actually according to the web site, there are some medication to kill these parasites and is harmless to our shrimps but i don't know whether sg is selling.

Also from now onwards i am skeptical to buy any type of moss tied to dw from LFS...always found funny creatures in it. The last i brought from a well know LFS, i found a creature similar to the pic above and a 6cm long centipete...

You can't blame them too.. they get it from their supplier directly.. when you bought the moss wood, please soak in water for a few hours and then placed it in your tank.. the above mentioned creature is known as dragonfly nymph.. known to eat up shrimplets.. remove it immediately if you spotted it..

I removed all the plant in my 3ft shrimp tank soak it in water for new hours and then shake the plant in water to separate any still attaching to the plant just in case it still there. By then I can carefully scan through the tank to see an still swimming around cannot allow any single one still hanging around in my tank. Scary Bro to find those can eat up your precious shrimp.

I believe those egg nymph must be hatched from those plant got from the shop. I have not seen any dragonfly roaming around since I started this tank. I am keen to find out to where can buy such medication that will remove parasite and not harm your shrimp. If you know really must share infor.

I also manage to take it out...so far ok. The point is to remove before your plant goes in the tank because when it is in the tank...i really dont know how to take it out with so heavy planting inside ...

Anyway if you have time, do surf that taiwan website...the cherry chrimp there is so cheap and red hot ...red hot...i have never see any cherry in singapore that looks like that. They are red from head to tail...no traces of white at all.
