    nice hand-like driftwood beware yr lotus may not have enuff space to grow.. no foregrd?

    Hi, can give a break down list of the things u used to set up the tank? E.g substrate,lights,etc..

    And the moss(i think) on the branches..does it comes like that when u brought it? Or did u did it yrself?

    How much is the Lotus? I asked Ah Pek at Lor Harlus for the price of Tiger Lotus, he say $5 for a small one, anyone got better lobang???

    that piece of wood with moss i brought it from teo for $35,it about amost 2 ft long.I like the shape of the wood .

    juggler,yes,that will be new home for my apisto[]
    How is your apisto doing in your tank

    Hey, can see the pics now I think my office browser has some kind of config problem....must be coz its running on a Sun....

    Nice mossy wood. I like the way it sort of forms a bridge, so the fishes can swim under....

    Wah ... nice setup ... got a question: i try to stay away from driftwood these days ... cos after sometime the water become yellowish no matter how many times i soak it... whats the solution? is there any? will boiling work?

    where else but TEO? The one I got from him insist on growing to the surface so I finally let it have floating leaves, now I get lots of blooms of deep pink and yellow, very nice.
    why I don't do garden hybrids and aquarium strains: natural species is a history of Nature, while hybrids are just the whims of Man.

    wah .. godd place to play hide n seek - how 'bout riccia in the foregroud? be careful with the java moss - it traps dirt n need frequent cleaning.
    Could DIY for RM50 in KL but I haven't tried doing the tying myself.

    I love the yellowish effect! Fish won't get killed.

    This is black water which make the environment comfortable for tetras.

    BTW, im using really black laterite fer my tank now..does that really matter, cos i should think black will not bounce the light better..! what gravel is the best used?
