    I also have them in my tank. Hard to get rid of them once you introduce into the tank. Harder than getting rid of Ramshorn snails. So beware!

    Hi Everyone,

    I'm looking for Malaysian Trumpet Snail but cannot find them in any shop.

    Heard that it breed very fast... any one got any space one?

    By the way, how big this snail can get?

    They can get quite large, 3cm or more. And they really do breed at an alarming rate once they get established.

    You might want to do more research before you introduce this snail to your tanks.

    Please think very very very carefully before you put them in...
    they help eat algae and leftover food, and they help aerate the substrate yes...but are you sure you want to have this

    ALL OVER the tank in exchange for these benefits that other plants and creatures can also provide?

    Oh pls.. no. Pls think more bout putting this snail inside your tanks. It grow so fast.. and breed like no one biz!

    Actually I'm curious to find out as to what other organism can aerate the substrate as well as Malayan Trumpet Snails. Might use them for a change!
