Now who was saying that our young people are not
    enterprising enough?

Good for you, Skydevil. 2 bags of eggs and you will be making a profit from the trio I sold you.
Keep collecting eggs and sell as many as you can.
Let's start a Killifish scene going among hobbyists. Let's not depend on the fish shops anymore.

By the way, I went down to Ben's at Tiong Bahru market today. Took a while for me to find his shop. Ben was nice and friendly. He's selling them cheaper than the other shops, at $8 a piece. As I had expected, he didn't have any females. He only had 3 species and I think they are:

    Nothobranchius guentheri
    Nothobranchius eggersi
    Aphyosmenion australe (orange)

However, the fish were in poor states of health. They were kept in small plastic bags floating in his other fish tanks. I wouldn't have recognise the guentheri if I didn't have them myself. Their colours were all gone and the fish were on the verge of death. Maybe my timing was bad. Ben said new stocks come in every Thursday.

Something like betta but needs more space.
More Space = better life = happy fish

I wanna go down to H20 to take a look but no time. Maybe next week cuz holiday. The Killifish Scene in Singapore really too small. I ask around and many people dun know what is Killifish.

Tiong Bahru too far for me lah. Maybe i go look at the aquariums I know to check for Killifish.

singapore has a native species of aplocheilus. but it's the common panchax. those u see on Tekong are most likely from this species, which appears sometimes in feeder tanks.

skydevil, good to hear u've bred the golden panchax. by the way, u could try the clown killi. thats one nice fish.

Oh yes. Farmart got prawn fishing. I dun know what kind of prawn but is those kind with two big blue pincers. $12 an hr. If play 3 hr, get one hr free.

    benj: where's this place exactly?

skydevil: how does the fishing thing work? $12 regardless of whether you catch fish or prawn or both? and are you allowed to keep what you catch?

Nono. Go there free, but come back 50 cents

The $12 is only for prawn fishing and you can keep and eat what you catch.

    The Killifish like how ex?
