This 2 feet cube has undergone many rescapes. Still not perfect yet. Something is still missing. Comments anyone?

    Spec
    2 X 2 X1.5 feet
    ADA africana
    CO2 - 3 bps
Lighting - sharing 160 watt with another 3 feet

Flora - too lazy to list but nothing exotic all the commonly available plants.
    Flora - White cloud (Vietnam)

Still learning how to take a nice pic of the aquarium.

The depth seems to be not there yet... As in although it is a 2ft deep tank, it seems like everything is in front still...

Good plant growth. Are those B. japonica in the front? Replace those with some low foreground plants to create space, that would give some depth to the layout.

Still an amature, looks good to me though. Probably if joydiv takes the photo from a slightly higher elevation (helicopter view), it may give the impression of depth.

I find the plants not fully filling up the much empty space yet. And also look like all are currently at the same height.

Not sure if it is because the plants used are small leaf types. Perhaps open up more foreground and increase background plants?

The tank is 10 mm braceless. Got it quite sometime back from Sin Chew at Guillemard Rd. I think they have closed down the shop. Price wise, can't really remember - $100 plus plus

Agree, somehow after trying many different combination of plants still cant quite get it. Currently the background consist of narrow leaf Java fern and some really tall java fern from C 328. Will try using hairgrass in front and see how it goes.

They are of the same height, just did some trimming. The group on the right consists of HM, rotala rotundifolia red and green and didiplis diandra.

Will wait for the plant to gain some height before another photo.
