    Hi caRoland,

How do you keep your tank cool and what kind of lights are you using?
My current tank (initially marine tank) is from Atlantis (you heard of them?) which I switch to freshwater because I went overseas for a while. Gave all my marine fishes, corals, anemone, shrimps away for a freshwater set up. Anyway, I prefer freshwater aquariums but now it is my first time keeping a planted set-up.

Is your tank DIY or from any of the vendors selling these tanks? Need your expert advice?

well im using cooler master fan 4" with Diy brackets and also use T5 light.
Temperature I manage to get is 27-28 day time.
Thinking to house CRS in a months time due to lots of shrimplets in my the other 2ft CRS breeding tank.
Mostly are BC grades, intending to create a moss wall.
Nw im thinking of modifying the Cover hood higher and width smaller to get better air circulation.

Our wallmount tanks can house CRS?!! Cool!!

If you modify the cover hood, don't you think there will be a small slit of light bursting out of the space which is intended for air circulation?

Where exactly did you place the fan? Can't see it on the pic. Very good concealment!

Moving up the hood balancing the outer frame, fan is attached at the edge of the 2 corners.
Housing Crs i doubt there is a problem, maintaining good quality water and temp, with 2 fans at the 2 extreme corners. I can achieve temp like 27-27.5 during night time. Afternoon will hits less than 28.5.
And of course not to forget the miricle ADA soil.

Is your tank really wall mounted or does it actually have legs? Seems that it might be too heavy to be wall mounted - just wondering.

It should be a constructed wall...and the tank should be sitting onto constructed platform or metal stand concealed within the constructed wall... you will never see a tank of that weightage to be wall mounted.. the definition of wall mounted is an idea, a figure of the speech to illustrate how is the tank being located.

Hope you have an idea...no more wondering...
