    Really nice setup after a few months. . too bad i have quit planted tank. .now more forcus on low tech moss tank. .cheers keep it up . .hope to see you upgrading a bigger planted tank.

    The hairgrass takes around 1 - 2 months time to spread.

    I just leave the fern alone after tying it to the wood. At first it doesn't seems to grow much, but after a month in the tank it starts to take off.
