thanks for the kind comments. my foreground isn't make up of Eriocaulon sp. that would have cost me a bomb. it's actually Lilaeopsis brasiliensis. i only have one Eriocaulon sp. bought for $15 from a fellow forumer. my yamato didn't touch it though.
Your lilaeopsis grows until that well!? Wow!! It must have taken quite a bit of time for it to achieve this stage man. Slow growers aren't they? Anyway, it oulwd be interesting to wait and see when the right side matures.

How does it propagate?
Thanks.
Thought the filter inlet and themometer is not covered. It will be better to shift those then to cover them up with plants.
Open space will make you tank appear deeper. But the choice is yours.
P.s. what's with the inverted filter inlet?
this is the 3rd pic lor! the plant suppose to put out a long central spike with a flower "knob", you might have seen those. Bought five plants from ah pek for $25, next morning found my yamatoes stroking their tummies in satisfaction [] [] [] and no more eriocaulon----------------

just curious how big this plant will grow? does the long central spike keeps growing taller than the rest? if thats the case ... wont it look strange kept as a foreground plant?
oqs, nice tank setup [] where did you get Lilaeopsis brasiliensis?
Hi,
Look nice.
What plant did you place underneath the lotus?
colin | The Wilderness and Forest | FTS
the Lilaeopsis brasiliensis is indeed a very slow grower. there's still a lot of empty spaces in the foreground waiting to be covered up. don't know how long that will take. you can get them at teo's. eriocaulon sp. can get from them too.. but ah pek's one will be better. the eriocaulon should be able to grow very big.. but it will take a long long time. take a look at this page to see really big eriocaulon sp.
what plants under the lotus? you talking about the xmas moss? or on the left side, the blyxia japonica? the right side is a bunch of small leaves stem plants. bought from teo's. couldn't identify them. can anyone help?
and yah the angels are wild. bought from H20.
