Thinking of doing straight from tap water change around 20% once every week for CRS tank, followed by anti-chlorine/chloramine dosing into tank. Any one thinks this is safe enough for CRS?

Current tank setup does not have space to store aged water for 3ft tank.
    Thanks.

I use a standard size red color pail to collect water from tap before adding Seachem Prime.
Do some stirring before introducing to tank.

some bros here observe no problem when topping up straight from the tap even for their CRS. Guess i'll have to try it out and see for myself. Long term, i need to be able to do water change conveniently enough to do it regularly for my 3 footer.

What is the size of your CRS tank siansian? And what grade is the CRS?
Any dosing of anti-chlorine after straight tap water change?

That's too risky for CRS. For a 3 footer, maybe you can prepare 2 red pails.

Quite rare to find pH straight from the tap at 8.0
Maybe there's some problem with the water pipes?
