Something about the water & the fishes that calms me down.

Not famished la...just not fat.
i don't like fat fishes...
Sorry if im wrong.
But it does looks exactly like the rubies i got from Biotope.
No lar. It is different for sure.
The position of the red and black is different in the two fishes. Also the eye colouration is different.
Here's the ruby from Biotope.

This batch of Rubies from Biotope all this colour leh. At the shop, they look green man...
Ok, then can someone tell me why the rubies from Biotope got no red colour at all?
Im so puzzled!!!!
They are under stress and need time to acclimitise. It may take weeks for them to get comfortable and show good red coloration.
Yup.. definitely not rubies..if not i won't buy liao..haha..
Head shape also quite different.
So retook a photo of them after they have coloured in a bit and been fed a bit more for people who like fat fishes..kekeke..

For A. riesei...the colouration is usually darker red in colour..also there are different patterns and also size differences.. don't even need to talk about veination of fins... this guy is about 3-4cm large.
