Use of CO2 tablet for Crystal Red Shrimp tank

Hi All

I do not have enough space in my house to invest in a CO2 setup. I am thinking of introducing CO2 tablets for my CRS tank. The tank consists of mostly moss...do you think it is safe to do so and necessary for moss?

I do not know whether CO2 tablet save for CRS or not, but my experience CO2 tablet does not work even for my small 1ft office tank. How big is your tank? DIY CO2 worked better though troublesome. By the way moss can survive without CO2, it only grow slower and uglier .

I guess you better not take the risk of CO2 tablet on your precious CRS

Perhaps you can consider Seachem's Excel instead. It's basically Carbon based liquid fertilizer. Please watch your dosage.

O yeah forgot about excel. That one worked, and it has BBA killing side effect . just don't overdose it.
