    Hi Leonardo,
Welcome to AQ, nice tanks you have there, any reasons why the tanks have no inhabitants? Are you going to have some in the future?
    ...I love rubies too ...

    Reason

The reason is that in Brazil exotics are illegal (except for some like iguana, bullfrog, jabuti, teiú and a especie of turtle I canīt remind the name) so all amphibians that we have here are ilegal...I want to find some dendrobates for this vivarium but itīs to hard to find and the price is too high...but one day...
    Greatings,
    Leonardo

Except White's Tree frog which is recently legalise, it's the same situation here...funny how you're in the middle of South America; dendrobates endemic to the regions, and it's illegal to keep them.
Is it the same for the other South American countries?

No man, whiteīs tree frog are illegal too...do you know IBAMA?Itīs then that care about this part. Sorry but I can say this in english. but they are the law in this area of environment, exotics and stuff...they suck! All corrupts, one time ago 100% of employes of IBAMA in a state in Brazil were in prision for corruption, and in Rio other time, 90%.
I wish my english was good to talk much more about this problem.

is it the same for the other South American countries?
Well, I donīt know but I can look for you if you want
