if you are gamer, choose singnet, better ping.
depend on your area.
having use 10+ years without any contract since SCV.
i complained countless times when starhub took over.
switched over to singnet last year.
i simply love the speed. (heavy p2p usage)
but ADSL can be tricky. some places with old wires not suitable. Provider does not do line test till you subscribe.
Thus it's better to check with your neighbours or hardwarezone

I'm currently using Singnet 1500kps plan.
Its a big lagging and slow for P2P usage....slow downloads.
Any advice?

bro i have using singnet for 6years, so far nothing but when singnet got problem your connection is terrible . . now i having with 10mb speed. think half year ago and my freebies is 32' LCD Sony Tv. SIngnet good is because delicated speed. . .max online when come to soccer match worse the speed is diam very slow. .

oh by the way the offer for lcd tv has over for half year. .now upon waiting my contract finsh will aim for laptop. .
Singnet if you live in a new estate or if your quite sure that the phone lines are good.
Their bundled gifts are better as well... (Sony Bravia? Apple Macbook?)
Noticed for Starhub most of their "good" gift bundles require you to take a recontract on all 3 of their services (TV,mobile,Internet).
decided to hold on to my current plan as Singnet is doubling the speed for the same price I'm paying....
