The bottle instructions says once everyday. I do that for my 1.3ft tank. I dosed around 1/5 cap (1 cap thread) every day just to be on the safe side since i keep shrimps. Its a non co2 tank. Mosses grow more agressively than before. Seachem flourish (fert) is dosed around the same amount once a week.

Why don't you buy those plastic syringes that is sold at pharmacy or Watson's. For my one feet cube I dose 0.5 ml every 2 days and so far no casualty for my faunas. For your smaller tank you could maybe half that dose.

Generally, a simple rule of thumb would be 1 cap per 1 1/2 footer give or take per week. Based on that, you can estimate how much you need to add, it will not affect your shrimps or plants if you have added a ml or 2 more. You also do not need to add it everyday.
