how far would you go for your fish?

How far would you go for your fish? I was just wondering cuz I bought a book on fish disease sometime back, and basically its quite amazing what the author recommends... In the book, the author goes as far as doing autopsy's on fishes, skin swabs, microscope examinations etc... quite detailed.

Do any of you ever go that far? If so, whats the most you ever did?

hehee as far as i'm concern .. if the fish is sick pour medication
