today i have been to aquarama, really nothing happening . .things are mainly for traders and not cheap also. .planteds tank competition also not much only 6 to 8 tank. . .but for me think most attracted me is the pelco 1st, 2nd and 3rd winner. .nice pelco man.

Just a thought.
Perhaps the moderators can consider starting a new temporary folder called Aquarama 2007, within which other sub-folders can be added if necessary. That way, readers here will have a single point of visit, rather than having to visit the various different folders. Just a suggestion for your consideration.

Entry also got to pay $8, guess not a weekends place for family to spent. Not yet buy anything already opt put $$ and if the item not cheap (like some brother said) than I wont visit at all.

I've been to the exhibition.... imho, really nothing much. I've offered to purchase a certain item but it seems that it isn't for sale.

Anyone can confirm that they will sell on Sunday? If not it'll be a wasted trip. Thanks.

Some of us managed to get free tickets given out by Tetra last week through SMS. I don't think I will go if have to pay $8.

ya I agree with lwm999, heard to participate in the marine aquarium contest also pay $150..than end up only few people join contest, if i win the prize also few not happy because too many expert out there.

Unless the prize given is worth few thousands...think poor marketing concept.

The competition for planted only 10 tanks..... standard so so... also i dun know how they judge... cos the one that won the first prize- looks kelong to me.

disappointing show this show nothing much happening... just bought a few plant books.

They should allow public to view and vote + judge point than decide the winner, how come not yet open to public already decide the winner...really funny.

Interesting, in what way did 2nd and 3rd prize winner did a better job? How are these a better job? Surely there is something that distinguishes them.

What is it that you are looking for in a planted tank? It will be good to share these with us. I am really bad at aquascaping, so this is a good opportunity for me to learn as well.

1st prize looks more wild and natural whereas the 2nd and the 3rd one looks more artificial and chinese by that i do not mean they're not nice. Just different approach towards aquascaping. Peace. No hard feelings.

sorry la maybe it just me- I dont like it! i dont know how to say- it just dont look right or a winner to me. But only 10 tanks .... so the standard is low..... quite easy to win for our Old bird here.
