    Here's a look at some of the fishes on display at the competition and the winners for some of the categories.

    Gourami 1st Prize (Trichogaster leerii) - Interesting finnage, probably the reason for its winning


    Gourami 2nd Prize (Trichogaster microlepis)


    Gourami 3rd Prize - Beautiful tank of Trichogaster trichopterus, look at those spots on the anal fins

    Some of these gouramis will look brilliant in our planted tanks.

    I think the gouramis are...

    Gourami 1st Prize - Trichogaster leerii (pearl gourami)
    Gourami 2nd Prize - Trichogaster microlepis (moonlight gourami)
    Gourami 3rd Prize - Not Colisa chuna but Trichogaster trichopterus (three spot gourami)
