Where to buy Yamato prawns?

Hi folks ... need advice on where to get Yamato prawns ata reasonble price. LFS would be great instead of farms. I've a 2 ft tank with 54w light and about 15 small sized fish. How many prawns shd I get ? Don't want to overcrowd the tank as prawns foul up the water pretty quickly when they die and i plan to add in 3-4 rednoses. Thks.

NB : The prawns are mainly to cleanup algae (hairy) growing on some plants and back styrofoam backgground.

petmart 20 for $12

I also bought the ones from petmart 2 weeks ago. They are SMALL. But I counted there are around 23 shrimp in the bag instead of the normal 20 for a bag.

yamato is 20 for $12, but they are small (like 12mm onwards)
malayan is 100 for $10..

Kun, Yamatos are available in QH , 3 sizes ! Large ( damn huge ), medium and small ! []. Bought 100 pcs of medium last week ! []

how does QH sell their yamato? Do you always have to buy in quantity? OR can buy loose... also what are their prices like?

you can try LFS like Clementi Florist, NA Nature Aquarium, Petmart or Ben Wong (Tiong Bahru). Best is call before you go. Details in the LFS list.

which east are u at?u can try bedok(the stretch opp bedok library)or u can go samy yick at either parkway or simei.

u can try eco culture at lavender. They sell big yamoto shrimps, cheap also![]
