hmmm... I wonder which insurance would insure them? Interesting question. But if the value of the fishes are so high, it would indeed make sense to insure them. I'm sure the premium won't be cheap though.
Cheers,
I wonder if they buy insurance for their fish for the show...

I have dwarf cichlids in my tanks! Do you?
OMG!! the i can't imagine if i was the owner of the casualty...![]()
with the track record the premium will definitely be high.
or, more probable, they may refuse to insure too.
i doubt they can cover that one loss from the premium from all the fishes.

It is a good day to die!!!
I finally uploaded an avatar and Cupid is dead!!!![]()
Maybe that's why the platinum arowana is only for show by the shop owners, using their own setup, and not for competition. Otherwise, with a 200,000 British Pound price tag...... I cannot imagine further!

Thanks guys for all the kind words. The fishes are the stars here, I was just lucky to be able to photograph them in a relatively unrestricted manner during the trade days of Aquarama. However, I use flash and don't add any colors to the fishes and hence, this is the true color of the fishes when view under sunlight. They will look different when viewed under red color aquarium light.
Incidentally, here's another picture of the same Platinum Arowana, but taken 2 years ago at Aquarama when it was much smaller.
Cheers,
