I think this fish is a real challenge to keep, much less to breed. Those, who tried here, have not had much success in keeping them long. After several tries, my current batch of two are thankfully more or less about 8 months now.
I am not sure if anyone knows how to sex them as yet, at least no one mentioned it. Didn't see much literature on the Internet on this fish either.
Seeing you had success with L46, I think you would probably be more equiped to keep this more sucessfully. Having 10 of them would also possibly mean there is a mix of males and females in there. I am speculating that their breeding would not be too different from Parotocinclus or Otocinclus spp.
Do keep us updated on your project. We'll be most interested to hear of any results and observations.
