What algae is this ?

Hello all,

What is the name of this algae?

It is green. They give the object that they are growing on a furry look. They look like tiny wool fibres extending out of a cotton towel.

Is it considered the healthy kind of algae which grows when plants are also growing well and healthy? I am inclined to think it is because I put alot of KNO3 and iron in my water and the plants grow like crazy and at the same time it grows too.
