yup. agree with valice. Go to c328. They definitely have it, of course, don't go today, they are close on sunday. I had similar experience with you raiden, went to Y618 and NA all sold out, but when you go to C328, there are so many stocks of them. Just outside their stores.

I bought a similiar model from Biotope named Dasz, work alright for me and cost the same as Eden. Dislike the hard clear tubing they gave though, difficult to bend at angles. Wonder if the tubings in Eden 501 are softer. Anyone can tell me so I buy the right one next time?

Saw a similar-looking filter with another brand - Seven Stars SF-601, in Wu Hu aka Tiong Bahru Ben's, earlier today.

Was told C328 is also carrying this new filter.

Price is about the same as the Eden, but the Seven Stars comes with the bracket at no extra charge.

Haha seems like all the look-alikes is trying to beat Eden 501 by including the brackets. The Dasz model I bought also includes the bracket and media. Thanks tcampbell for the info, might want to get another set next time.

I am thinking of getting one too to replace my overhead which is blocking my light.

Any one know of a comparison online, and other specs like the flow rate of the Eden compared to Seven Stars? Is it same?

Seven star is 240 l/hr as are most other brands. Eden is rated the highest of the lot.

Thanks. I had bought the Sevenstar at Polyart. Cost me $50. Very easy to setup.

Btw, any other SS-601 owner can advice what is the use of the included 2x L-shaped rubbery connector? It is a TRF something according to the description on the box, but did not show how to connect it...

bro, sidetrack a little on the topic.
Possible to share what makes you decided to get SS? Because a few dollars more could get you eden, with a better specification.
I'm just being curious, because i do have one eden501, just wanted to know whath SS have in addition

The Eden 501 have no stock when I visit, and so I pick up the SS601 instead. Afterall, I think the SS601 will do just as well for my small 1.5ft.
