    Hi there,

Nice simple set-up but the plants seem to be placed a little too separated from one another. Also, it would be good to increase plant mass in your tank. It's a good practice to have heavy plant mass right from the onset rather than to wait for the plants to grow into the tank. Saves lots of algae headaches later on.

Not bad for the new scape. It must be not easy to do planting for the cube tank.
What is your water parameter reading like? Don't know whether it is better to leave out the CO2 for this setup?

    Hi marle,

What happen to your willow moss? From the first picture, the willow moss looks kinda messy. Would like to know more about willow moss.

You have a really nice small setup ... can see that your riccia and HG is growing very well... I failed my attempt at HC as well... it turns brown way too easily

I saw you are using a net for your riccia... where do you get those net??

bro, you can go those local lfs like c328 or colourful or NA, and ask for riccia net. very cheap. personally i got mine from NA.

ya man, HC is so nice, sad to have failed it. I think the answer to it is base fert. i have no base fert for them.

Bro, thanks for the info... will look for it at NA...

I didn't put base fert as well and thats why my HC are dead!
I think base fert is the key to success

Anyway it is an experience and a good try
