seems like it is not common here
but widely used in UK, Aust and US.

there had been so many good reviews abt it, makes me very curious.

apparently they are rated as excellent value for money.

Think eheim liberty is developed along these lines too..to be competitior is this external hang-on segment. But it never really took off. Personally i feel that the liberty shouldnt come out at all. I am dubious abt the "Catridge" concept in the first place. But i have nothign but praises for its canisters.

Yeah seen many users giving it nothing but praise , but i think its just another HOT filter.
I still much prefer canisters for all round filtration.
However i will be getting a BioWheel soon , let you know how it is , who knows you also want to get one haha []
