    Hi

as you can tell, my 'shark' (catfish) is in bad shape. only one affected. been like that since a month. about 2.5 years old. other fishes in aquarium includes goldfish... the head is vanishing...as it something is eating that poor creature. canno tbe external parasite right, since it is the only affected fish, and it is not spreading to other fishes. Internal parasite? or is it due to the genes of the fish itself?

i try to do as much water change as possible, and even put general aid medecine. It is getting worst. What can I do? Melafix can fix that??

filter is overhead filter, pH neutral, temperature 25-28. no substrate.

Your kind help is much appreciated.

    Regards, Christophe

I don't really know much about shark but in some other types of fishes sometimes their head can have holes. This is known commonly as hole in the head disease. I am not sure if yours is the same problem or not.

Anyway if it is hole in the head, you can find more about it here: http://www.peteducation.com/article....articleid=2586

    Hope this helps.
