Media feilter Problem

Hi everyone.....
I've just started my 2ft tank. My tank water is misty, i dun know y.....By the way, i put EHFISUBSTRAT bteween the 2 filter pad. I did not wash the EHFISUBSTRAT before putting it ino the filter. It is wrong to do so ?[

yeah. i think you should at least rinse the ehfisubstrat. for mine, the rinsing water becomes full of white suspended particles (cloudy). so that might be the reason your tank is cloudy. or it might be a bacteria bloom.

How long has it been cloudy? If its only a few days and its from the EhfiStrat, give it time to clear. You should have rinsed it but its not a big problem... I made the same mistake with my tank when I first started.

What plants do you have? Any fishes? How much lights? Fert? CO2?
