u mus be kidding using stargrass as foregrd plant.... yr ozelot kinda too cramped up... need more space to grow and the rose oso... u know the E. rose grows taller than 60cm rite? i really like yr cryptos

haha.. my stargrass just cannot grow upright.. maybe bcos it used to melt last time.. hmm.. dun know that E.rose grow so tall.. thanks for ur comments...

Pardon my asking, the lawn isn't Star Grass right? It looks more like Echinodorus quadricostatus. Star Grass grows upwards more than creeping.

YES: After looking at your website, it is indeed Star Grass. Beware the plant will shoot upwards when conditions are right. See mine:

Hi Juggler,

You know the handful of stargrass you gave me ? They struggle to survive and some turned brown and melted away. I wasn't sure why. Recently, I changed my 9 mth old 36W AEC PL tube to a new Osram one ... voila ! they are all green and growing fast. some grow upwards and started to grow sideway ... sending white roots downwards. I think they are trying to propagate by spreading. Looks like strong light is crucial to stargrass.

You have very lush stargrass .... does those below get blocked by those above and die off ?
