Physostegia leptophylla

Anyone kept Physostegia leptophylla before? http://www.victri.net/plants/_physos...ptophylla.html

I've bought some but after planting all the leaves melted. After waiting 2 - 3 weeks then recently spotted very small emerging leaves. Very very slow in

growing. Can't seem to find much information on this plant on the web. Anyone tried this plant before?

The drawing seems to show a stem plant rather than a rosette plant. So, I don't think the ID is right for that plant in your link.

Your plant does look a bit like submersed Rorippa aquatica though.

Ya googled but it seems to be a different plant altogether as the name suggests. Bought 2 pots from Colourful Aquarium but Richard doesn't know their names. The only thing he told me was that they will turn red brown under strong lighting. But based on his description and pictures in his link http://www.victri.net/plants/_physos...ptophylla.html
, it seems to match the plant that I've got. Really really slow in growing.

I did a search on Rorippa aquatica and found this http://www.hippocampus-bildarchiv.de...paaquatica.htm but it doesn't look like that. Then saw this plant by the name of Physostegia purpurra http://www.hippocampus-bildarchiv.de...iapurpurra.htm and looks more like the plant I'm having.

Too bad, can't take a photo of them as after planting, the leaves all melted and left with the rhizome and some very very small leaves emerging.

The ID on victri.net is probably wrong in the first place. Which means that it is NOT Physostegia leptophylla we are talking about but something else with unknown ID.

Yes, a picture will help lots.
If you got it from the trade, than it is even more likely that it is Rorippa aquatica. Do note that the emersed growth looks radically different from the submerse growth, which look more like a crypt.
