    Hi guys,
I am trying to calculate electrical consimption of my aquarium equipments. In the calculator in this web that help us calculate electrical consumption requires us to input the watts of the equipment. Im not sure of the following:
    1) what is the solenoid watts i am using? I'm using JBL, is it the same watts as other brand? what watts it is using?
    2) Timer which i using to control lights and solenoid, i believe its also consume electri, can advice me using timer is using how many watts?
    3) i'm using chiller which specified 220to240V with 1.1amp. does it means 248Wto264W?

Hope someone is kind to advice.

    1) Not sure. My JBJ selenoid does'nt say either.

    2) Not sure. But I dont think they consume a lot of electricity. I usually omit this device when calculating my overall consumption.

    3) The figures should be right. W= V x Amp. So it should be 242/264watts.

both the solenoid and timer consume small amounts of electricity. no figure for a timer but should be close to a solenoid which consumes about 2~3 watts.

you can use 264 watt as chiller consumption.
