    Hi folks,

I read in articles that Potassium, K is ciritcal to good plant growth and it gets depleted easily. On the other hand, phosphrous or it's compoind, usually from fish food contribute to algae like BBA.

What is this K2SO4 or something like that for plants ? Where can I get it ?

Any way to reduce phosphates other than less feeding ?

    Thanks folks.

K2SO4 - can get from Dr Mallick. See this thread for more info.

Phosphates removal by less feeding and water change or having fast growing plants. If PO4 is 0.5~1.0ppm, shd be OK.

I only tested for PO4 lately. Never buy the kit for 2 years I have been keeping plants. As I feed my fish liberally, I trust that with weekly/ fortnightly partial water change things would be fine.

Since you stay near, you are welcome to try out my test kits if you like.
