Anyone can recommend where and how much roughly to make glass covers for a 3ft tank? Need something simple, no need to be super high quality. Thanks.

May I ask why you'll need a glass cover? Condensation might occur on it making it slightly blurred and prevent optimum light penetration. Why not using those light diffuser aka egg crate? Light and cheap and won't shatter if you drop them unlike glass.
If you've learnt, teach, if you have, give.
Don't walk behind me as I might not lead, don't walk in front of me as I might not follow. Walk beside me, as my friend.
Mohamad Rohaizal is my name. If it's too hard, use BFG. I don't mind.

It's not for a planted tank, it's for 2 holding tanks. One has an Arowana in it and the other tank has tetras, danios and many other small species fishes. The main reason to keep it covered is because the fish are jumping out. I'm having problems keeping the feeder frog for the aro in the tank; they keep escaping. It's also to prevent the aro from jumping out as well since it still has not settled down yet.
My 6ft tank has covers as well but that's gonna be the planted tank setup and my MH lights easily penetrate through so no issues with the covers there either.
