Hi guys, after 2 months of cycling, finally got my tank up and running. its a simple budget setup. with low maintenance corals and fishes.

corals are there as an experiment.i bought the low maintenance variety.3 for 10 dollars. if i am able to sustain them for 1 month. then i will invest more money to get other types of coral.

currently. about 12KG of liferocks (will get more over time)

    Lifestock:

    2x green chromis
    1x black neon damsel
    1x common clownfish
    1x domino
    1x cloudy damselfish
    1x blue knee hermit crab
    1x unknown hitchhiker

low maintenance coral means corals that hardy and do not require much maintenance..

    example, low light.

    err..

just that this corals require less specific factors for growth. factors such as calcium for growth, water flow, whether there is plankton for the corals to feed, different light source (blue or full spectrum lighting) and others..

yeah. i got my corals out of a tub that was not even lighted and was left in the open..3 for 10 dollars type of sale..

BlackGhost, what equipment are you currently using?
If you've learnt, teach, if you have, give.

Get a protein skimmer. Canister filter might be a nitrate factory as I have read it somewhere before. Do you have a sump?
