I think I will replace with MH.
If the plants doing so well don't bother about the tube brightness or etc.. safe the $$

What is it that you are not satisfied with the Osram tubes? Colouration? Performance? There are many premium brands out there in the market. And there are also alot of debate in many forums on which is better than the other.
So maybe you want to discuss more about what you are not happy about.
Oh, and 54W for 4ft is HO indeed.
My understanding is that 4 x54w for a 4x4x2 tank is sufficient. But most of my plants tend to grow taller and taller, indicating insufficent lighting, right? I am thinking of experiencing with other tubes, without changing the Dymax casing. Though I would like to have MH, I do not want to use chiller. Cheers.
you can try with the parabolic reflector, brighter with better paneration. Of course MH is the best but no chiller .. hmm better don't try.
But plants naturally will grow taller right?? unless you refer to glosso, HC or ..
Dymax set cannot take parabolic reflectors as it is of a pretty slim form factor...
I have posted my DIY T5 light set. Maybe you can bring your lightset to my place for testing see if using parabolic reflector is brighter.
