Mine broke down after 1 year and I couldn't get replacement parts. Ended up buying an emergency Eheim 2215!

Me thinking of getting a second hand model as above. is it advisable? or should i just invest in getting a new set?
any recommendations?

My advice is get a new set if you are looking at Jebao. You may end up spending more when you though that it will save you $$.
yea, get a new one to play safe, and brand new one can last longer too..
u won't know how long more can the filter works..
