Hi
Will it disrupt the CO2 injection? Bcos water from OHF will flow down and mix with air and disperse the CO2
A hang-on filter would be ideal, keep the water level high. Or a small internal powerhead filter, but this will take up some space.
If you have CO2, consider a Eden501. Its a canister filter, flow rate small enough for a nano tank. Looks quite neat too...![]()

I have a thread on filtration for a 1ft cube tank with some pretty good recommendations and my thoughts on the filter i ended up settling for. you might want to check it out as your tank is quite similar in size to a 1ft cube and the filtration options would probably be identical.
just scroll a few lines down below your thread and you should find it =)
I am also setting up a cube tank for shrimps soon. Have bought the Eden 316 which is an internal filter. Heard it's sufficient for a 1ft cube and it's not really that big in size. The inlet is also "not too big" so that baby shrimps would not be caught in between. There is also a flow variation switch. Hope I have made the correct decision.
don't worry, be happy
Been using the Eden 316 for about a month now. It's very quiet and effective. The flow can also be adjusted. Very satisfied with its performance.
don't worry, be happy
If you ask me, its definately gotta be a Eden 501 to do the job!
