    Hi all,

My basic specs are as follows: 30L aquarium, 1 bps CO2, occasional addition of ferts, 24 W light (left on for 12 hours a day at least, better get a timer), small fan (water around 28-29 deg C), etc.

I am having excessive growth so much so that I have to trim my plants twice a week. They are fast growing plants.

Could anyone please recommend some very slow growing plants with small leaves (I like them that way) for my aquarium, please?

Any other advice/comments to reduce the growth?

Btw, my setup can be found here -> http://www.aquaticquotient.com/forum...ad.php?t=30659

    Thanks!

CO2 speeds up growth rate... maybe this is why you see fast growth?

After looking at your tank and the plants in there. Even with low CO2, your plants will grow fast. The difformis, cabomba will grow really quickly.

If slow growing plants are what you need, java ferns (or ferns in general) and various anubias (nanas) are recommended.

Just make sure you plant them on drift/bog woods or rocks instead.

Ya....I tried growing those plants in your background before. They are simply weeds . Try some moss on wood? They grow pretty slow.
