Hi everyone, I'm in the midst of rescaping my 2x1x1 tank for a new pair of apistos coming in, and I need to purchase some plants to spruce the bare setup up a little. I was thinking of going to Colourful as while C328 does carry alot of plants, I probably would require a shop that has staff who know the plants that I want as I'm inexperienced at identifying plants (I just check the name and specifications on tropica). I've noticed people recommend Colourful Aquarium as a good place to buy plants. Due to my working hours I'm only able to go to buy stuff in the late evenings, so was just wondering if anyone knew the contact and/or opening hours of Colourful Aquarium? I checked the list of LFS and I didn't manage to find it there.
Also, would Colourful be the place to look if i'm looking to buy (in terms of price and quality): common crypts, echi. parviflous "Tropica" and perhaps mosses?
Umm... I seriously doubt Colorful's Uncle can help much, but yes it's a good place to start for a wide variety of plants.Do your homework. You can check the various websites like tropica's or plantgeek etc. even our very own AQ's photo gallery for ID.
I saw Polyart carrying E.Parviflous Tropica at reasonable price. One of the guy working at Polyart is quite knowledgeable with plants.
CA has quite a variety of moss though.

Yes, it's a few shops further down C328. Same block.

when calling polyart, look for lester or ah hao...he's the only guy in polyart who knows somewhat what he's talking about...the rest are rather clueless and either tell you they don't know, make up some random answer on the spot or ask you to call back when ah hao is around

The uncle at Colourful may not be that knowledgable in other aquatic plants but he knows his crypts.
