Placement of Eheim 2211

Can the Eheim 2211 be place on the same level as the tank or should it be below the tank?

Thinking of replacing my Eden 501 and I don't have space under the tank so it has to be on the cabinet itself.

I have seen them being placed at the same level at Qian Hu. So I think you can safely do that.

But why do you want to replace your Eden501? Any fault with it?

Thanks valice. Got it just now and working perfectly well on tank level.

Yep thats the Eheim Classic smallest size. No fault at all with the 501 but I prefer to have more bio media for my filter. The eheim has more space for more media than the 501.
