This is interesting and good idea. But from my own experience, gas built up should not exceed 50% and should be cleared within 24hours. Maybe you want to check your filter or pipes to see if they are dirty with algae or co2 rate may be too fast...

Just want to share a modification I did to de-gas the NA type reactor.
I always have gas build-up after a few hours and will not reduce even if I use a strong filter.
I deviced a slight modification to de-gas the build up.
Please see the attached pic.
I used the pnuematic air hose and secured it to the water inlet inside the reactor using cable tie.
I adjusted the height to the maximum amount of gas that I want to have.
I routed the other end to the water outlet of the reactor.
Excess gas will purged once in a while as the air build up to the de-gas tube level.
Assuming that it is not CO2 I guess it served my purpose.
I do have less BBA issues now.
Hopefully it will be useful to anyone with similar problems.

A simple method is to just turn the reactor upside down to clear the gas. No need to do any modification.
