Hi Folks

I just setup a nano tank, basically for plants and shrimps. I bought all my stuff from seaview and i was strongly advised against using LED as they will not be good enough for the plants. Therefore, i settled for a PL clip on which they recommended, but it blew 5 mins after turning it on.

i have to go back and get it replaced but i do want to use LED lights, can anyone tell me if i should or should not replaced it with a LED light set?

If yes, what should i get, my tank is small, a 18.5L tank, i think about about 1 feet cube. I am using my son's IKEA table lamp for now.

There are 1 feet t5 lights from aquazonic, 2 tubes, price is about 25 can consider

from the current clip on nano leds on the market , i think its not strong enough unless its using 3 watt cree leds

Hey, thanks for the advice. I was told the same by the LFS bloke, therefore stuck with the PL light.

Hi, can anyone tell me why my algae turned brown? My moss seems to be turning brown too.

My tank is small, I'm using a PL 11W light which is on for 8 hours daily. No livestock yet. Just plants, what can I do?

Dome of the leafy plants also dying, leave turning translucent....
