    Hey Guys..

    Just saw this beautiful fella on the road a few days back...

    Anyone know what it is?? Of course its from Nagano Japan.. elevation about 1400meters...




    So any clue?

    i was thinking that as well HH... but the head patterns are so unusual....almost no visible bars at all...
    Maybe those take form when its an adult....hmmm...sweet!!

    Well actually no... i released it as i didn't have the appropriate enclosure for it... better see it free also la... makes me feel better also..haha..
    The other common snake here is what they call "yamakagashi" which is Rhabdrophis tigrinus tigrinus
    Nice snake.. but poisonous as well... will take pics of it when i can...

    Very swee specimen leh.

    I went snake hunting last Sat night too. Caught a nice size Lycodon ruhstrati again. Also got two not-red-bellied Oligodon formosanus, addition to my O.ornatus collection...
