just bought a pot of HC...
will try to grow it emersed...

hands so itchy now and price of HC dropped ...

btw, if I have 1 pot, should I pot everything closed together or seperate them and plant in patches?

the plant is so small, can I put some gravels, then put HC then use gravels to "cover" them a bit ? or I have to plant like glosso.?

Seperate them and plant in patches. Depends on how many you have and how big is the pot. For me, each patch is around 1cm ~ 2cm sqaure. After few weeks, yours pot will be full of HC...

Yes, you can use those fine gravels to "cover" them a bit, then water yours HC after poting, so that those fine soil will filling up gap between HC and soil

Cheersss... enjoy playing with emersed HC...

You can do something like this. I am covered this tank with a piece of plastic sheet. Turn on the light at nite when back from work. Turn it off when going to sleep. Water...once a month only.

does it means that I can grow HC like any normal plant ? does it require very high humility (i.e. the soil need to be wet most of the time ?)

Woo...looking nice man! You have better luck than me. My HC is dying on me...think didn't convert well to emerse. Ok ok I wait till your cookie box is over-flowing with HC than I steal some from you.
