has anybody got any thoughts, I just kind of bunged them in there , I'm quite new to this! I've had to trim one of the types of plant a couple of times since I've had it.
Also I hoover the gravel about once a week and find it is really easy to dislodge the plants which is annoying. Any tips?
    Thanks

Hi there, if you are looking into creating a planted aquascape, you can try to shift your cambombas to hide the heater and filter on your left. you can push your gravels up to the back corners to create a slight concave in the centre foreground, it will give the tank a bigger feel and help to hold your plants together. You can also remove the magnet cleaners, it just doesn't sit well there. Next, you can shift your crypts to the right along with the tall plant (sorry the name escapes me) at the back of the crypts. You can also move the pebbles and dinosaur head to hide the base of the cambombas. Lastly, this is just my opinion, change the background paper to black.

One question, how does someone with lots of plants keep the tank floor clean. I have been siphoning water off through the gravel like hoovering but it is difficult around the plants as it dislodges them and some areas are just too dense. Are shrimps the answer?
    Thanks
