Anyone knows of any small-sized filter-feeding shrimps that is being sold in the local LFS? I am looking for the wood shrimp though would love to find out more about other filter-feeding shrimps. Don't seem to be able to find any in the local LFS. Anyone know where I can find them?

    Thanks!

How small is exactly small sized?

The blue/green/red lace shrimp, Atyoida pilipes can be found but infrequent. They probably grow up to +-5cm SL.

The more common Cameroon armoured shrimp (Atyopsis gabonensis) and wood/mountain shrimp (Atyopsis moluccensis) reach around 15cm and 12cm respectively.

many shrimps are filter-feeding, but not all open their fans like wood shrimp.
why I don't do garden hybrids and aquarium strains: natural species is a history of Nature, while hybrids are just the whims of Man.
