Taiwan shrimp Or Tiger Shrimp ?

Chan told me the shrimps of the left hand side at entrance are taiwan shrimps.I wonder is taiwan better or tiger shrimps better in terms of algae control.
If let say i want to buy 100 piece the above shrimps, where is the best place beside NA ?

if you want to buy 100 shrimp you could get malayan, they're cheap and good. Taiwan is OK (at 30c each) but they're rather small and may not have the strength to pull at some types of algae. On the other hand, they can get to very small nooks and crannies (in my case among the base of hairgrass) where larger shrimps can't get to.

Tiger shrimps cost $1 or more and is more for ornamental purposes.
